Extra-curricular clubs

We offer a wide range of extra-curricular clubs for our children to enjoy. We run a range of lunchtime and after school clubs from 3.15pm to 4.15pm. Our clubs are led by members of our staff team and by outside coaches, for example, Plymouth Argyle.

In addition to these, from Monday to Friday, we run ‘Stay and Play’ for those children who need wrap around provision.

On a Monday morning, all of our pupils are encouraged to attend from 8.30am to be a part of the daily mile around the school field (running or walking or a bit of both).

Wild Tribe

Wild Tribe is a recognised award in which children are educated in the outdoors environment. The aim of the award is to develop the child as a rounded individual; a child that has fun, grows in confidence, learns new life skills and gains an appreciation of nature.

Children who gain these skills will be able to cope with successes and failures and will have a positive outlook on life. Throughout their time at St Kew, aIl of our children will participate and reap the benefits of Wild Tribe.
